Roles and Responsibilities:
- Work closely with clients and internal stakeholders to gather, analyse, and document business requirements.
- Translate business needs into functional specifications, user stories, and process flows with a strong focus on data-driven decision making.
- Support consulting engagements by conducting market research, competitor benchmarking, and industry analysis.
- Collaborate with Product, Data Engineering, and Analytics teams to define solution approaches aligned with client objectives.
- Assist in creating business cases, value propositions, and solution decks for client presentations.
- Participate in workshops, stakeholder discussions, and requirement elicitation sessions.
- Analyse datasets to derive actionable insights related to customer behaviour, sales performance, supply chain, or merchandising.
- Contribute to product thinking by supporting feature prioritization, backlog grooming, and basic product documentation.
- Ensure clear communication between business and technical teams to drive project execution.
- Support delivery teams in UAT, validation, and solution adoption by business users.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise:
- 2+ years of experience in a consulting, analytics, or business analysis role (consulting exposure is mandatory)
- Basic understanding of Retail or CPG domain (e.g., merchandising, supply chain, demand planning, customer analytics)
- Exposure to Product Management concepts such as user stories, roadmaps, or feature prioritization.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to structure ambiguous problems.
- Working knowledge of tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, and preferably SQL or any data visualization tool (Power BI, Tableau etc)
- Familiarity with requirement gathering techniques, process mapping, and documentation.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, client-facing consulting environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Economics, or related field (MBA is a plus but not mandatory)
