We are seeking a dynamic and people-centric HR Business Partner / HR Generalist with 5–10 years of experience who is ready to step into a highly visible, HR leadership role. This individual will be a trusted advisor to the business—proactive, influential, and deeply committed to fostering a strong, engaged workforce.

This role supports multiple distribution center operations, partnering with both hourly and salaried employees in fast-paced, high-volume environments.
What You’ll Do
Drive Engagement & Culture
- Champion a people-first culture through hands-on employee engagement initiatives
- Plan and execute events, programs, and on-site activities that enhance morale and retention
- Maintain a strong and consistent floor presence, building trust with employees at all levels
Lead Employee Relations
- Serve as a subject matter expert in employee relations, managing complex and sensitive issues with confidence
- Coach and guide leaders on performance management, conflict resolution, and HR best practices
- Provide clear, actionable HR recommendations that align with business objectives
Build Strong Partnerships
- Collaborate closely with site leadership to support operational goals
- Manage relationships with staffing agencies, particularly in environments with high volumes of temporary labor
- Act as a key liaison between employees and leadership, balancing advocacy with business needs
Role Scope & Expectations
- Maintain an active on-site presence (minimum 2 days per week) engaging directly with employees
- Support a multi-site model:
- 1 day/week in Trenton
- Rotating support between Ridgefield and Carlstadt
- Travel approximately 1.5 hours once per week between locations
- Operate in a hybrid (4:1) model, based on business and operational needs
