POSITION:
Our client is seeking a proactive Director of Talent Acquisition to build and execute a talent acquisition strategy and infrastructure to attract top talent to the company. Reporting to the Vice President of Talent, this leader recognizes that hiring is critical to the success of the organization. They seek a leader who will elevate the TA function including hiring and coaching a high-performance team. This position exists to build a strategic recruiting function that serves as a consultative partner to the business and drives disciplined and inclusive talent acquisition practices and quantifiable outcomes. This leader will enhance and coach their team to take a proactive, thoughtful, collaborative approach to improve the way we recruit to achieve business goals. Ideal candidates will have experience building and leading a Talent Acquisition function in a growing, fast paced environment with a diverse workforce including hourly, seasonal, and exempt workers.
Key Responsibilities:
Enhance, develop, and lead a high-performing TA function.
Develop and execute a centralized enterprise full cycle recruitment strategy including sourcing, identifying, screening, and on-boarding a diverse and qualified applicant pool for all levels of placement on a timely and effective basis.
Creates a recruitment plan and goals based on workforce plans including growth and turnover projections and other business objectives.
Drives the execution of an innovative, cost-effective recruitment plan and the creation and monitoring of associated programs, processes, and measurements to achieve strategic goals and talent objectives.
Develops best-in-class strategies and procedures to build talent pipelines through sourcing candidates and developing candidate pools.
Participates in and hosts recruitment events to drive awareness of Turning Point.
Manage the employer brand and ensure a consistent and positive candidate and client experience across the enterprise. Seeks to continuously improve every stage of the recruitment life cycle.
Professional Experience:
10+ years of progressive experience in hands-on recruiting and leading a TA team.
Experience leading Talent Acquisition for an organization with a wide variety of roles including non-exempt and exempt
Prior experience with a large hourly workforce, including shift workers, is required.
Industry experience in Hospitality, Healthcare or Retail is highly desired.
Experience with overseeing a transformation in Talent Acquisition
Deep understanding of the business and its drivers.
Has led a team of at least 5.
