Investment Vice President

Dextra Partners LLC (“Dextra”) is seeking a highly motivated Vice President to join its 20-person team to play a meaningful role in sourcing, underwriting, and monitoring investments across all industries and strategies. The candidate should possess an entrepreneurial spirit with a desire to play a key role across all aspects of Dextra. This is a career track opportunity for talented professionals.
Dextra is a rapidly growing, multi-strategy private equity firm based in New York, NY. Founded in 2022, Dextra currently manages approximately $5 billion in assets under management across the following strategies:
• Primaries: Underwriting LP commitments to top-tier middle market buyout sponsors
• Equity Co-investments: Minority equity investments in deals alongside control sponsors
• Secondaries: GP-led continuation vehicles
• Direct Lending: Senior debt and unitranche financings

Responsibilities:
• Serve as a deal quarterback across sourcing, due diligence, and underwriting from start to finish. Key areas of focus include sponsor analysis, financial modeling, and company and market research
• Condense findings and co-author investment memos. Present key takeaways to the team and investment committee
• Develop, foster, and grow long-term relationships with leading private equity sponsors and investors
• Proactively monitor fund and direct investment performance and prepare quarterly performance and valuation reports
• Play an active role in fundraising, including sourcing, engaging, and developing relationships with investors
• Manage, develop, and mentor junior team members; foster a collaborative and high-performance team culture
• Contribute to the development and execution of Dextra’s long-term strategic initiatives

Qualifications:
• Undergraduate degree
• 5 to 8 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, secondaries, private credit / leveraged finance, or a related field
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
Base Salary Range:
•$160,000 - $200,000, plus bonus
