As a Key Account Manager for USA, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with key clients in the region. Your primary objective is to drive revenue growth, customer satisfaction, and overall business success through strategic account management. This role requires a proactive and results-driven professional who can collaborate cross-functionally to meet and exceed customer expectations.
Things you will be doing as Key Account Manager USA
- Illustrate and develop the Customer Annual Sales Plan, relevant trade support budgets, and channel strategy
- Develop and implement appropriate policies and procedures to cover key areas of operational activities
- Ensure the business complies with local laws and regulations. Risks are identified, understood, and monitored to mitigate the potential risks
- Provide leadership, motivation and guidance to assigned team and distributors in order to achieve growth and profitability targets
- Monitor the Financial Costs and ensure they are in adherence with the budget allocated
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key clients in USA; serve as the main point of contact for our business partners in USA, manage key accounts & understand business needs and objectives and conduct regular account reviews to ensure customer satisfaction & identify opportunities for growth
- Develop and implement strategic account plans to achieve revenue and growth targets
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing accounts
- Collaborate with internal teams to align products/services with client needs
- Develop sales reporting systems with the distribution partners and/or key customers to receive critical In-Market Sales for better planning & insights
- Meet and exceed sales targets through upselling, cross-selling, and renewals
- Help negotiate contracts and pricing agreements to maximize profitability through our business partners
- Work closely with our business partners to identify new sales leads and prospects
- Coordinate with internal teams, including trade marketing, marketing, supply chain, finance and product development, to ensure seamless delivery of products and services
- Communicate effectively with our partners & clients to address issues, provide updates, and gather feedback
- Manage operational and promotional activities, and monitor the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and provide feedback to commercial teams
- Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitive landscape
- Conduct market research to identify potential growth opportunities and challenges
What are we looking for in you?
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field
- Proven experience as a Key Account Manager or in a similar sales role
- Strong understanding of the North American market and industry trends
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze data and draw meaningful insights for strategic decision-making
- Results-oriented with a track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
- Team player with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments
- Willingness to travel as required
