Overview
Better Life Technology is seeking a hands-on Web & Ecommerce Designer to design, maintain, and improve our portfolio of B2B and B2C websites across Shopify and WordPress.
This role focuses on creating visually strong, user-friendly, and conversion-focused web experiences while applying SEO best practices and executing email marketing campaigns across Klaviyo and HubSpot.
The ideal candidate is both creative and detail-oriented, with a strong understanding of ecommerce UX, website design, and how digital experiences drive performance. This person will play a key role in improving usability, consistency, and overall effectiveness across all digital platforms.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Web Platform Ownership & Rebuilds:
- Design and maintain visually cohesive, user-friendly websites across Shopify and WordPress
- Improve page layouts, navigation, and overall user experience
- Build and update pages, collections, and templates aligned with brand standards
- Ensure consistency across all websites and digital touchpoints
- Support site updates, product launches, and ongoing improvements
- Apply accessibility (ADA) best practices across web experiences
- Conduct QA checks to ensure functionality, accuracy, and performance.
SEO & Site Performance:
- Apply and maintain SEO best practices across site structure, content, and on-page elements
- Ensure site updates, migrations, and changes do not negatively impact SEO
- Own improvements to page titles, meta descriptions, URLs, and internal linking, and site hierarchy
- Monitor performance using GA4 and Google Search Console, and SEO tools
- Identify and execute opportunities to improve search visibility and rankings
- Work with the Marketing Manager to support keyword strategy and content alignment
Email Marketing Execution
- Build, schedule, and deploy email campaigns across Klaviyo and HubSpot
- Create and maintain email templates aligned with brand and web experience
- Support automated flows such as welcome series, abandoned cart, and post-purchase
- Monitor performance and suggest improvements based on results
- Coordinate email campaigns with website updates and promotions
Digital Experience & Conversion Support:
- Identify opportunities to improve usability and conversion across websites
- Work closely with the Marketing Manager on site strategy, launches, and improvements
- Help ensure all digital experiences are clear, consistent, and easy to navigate
- Support sales and internal stakeholders as needed for launches and initiatives
- Support merchandising of products, collections, and landing pages

CORE SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Required Experience:
- 3–5 years of experience working on websites (ecommerce and/or B2B)
- Highly organized and able to manage multiple projects
- Experience with Shopify and WordPress
- Strong eye for design, layout, and user experience
- Solid understanding of SEO best practices for websites and ecommerce
- Experience with GA4 and Google Search Console
- Experience building and sending email campaigns (Klaviyo, HubSpot, or similar)
- Strong working knowledge of HTML and CSS, with ability to build and troubleshoot layouts and templates
Preferred Experience
- Experience working with multiple brands or product categories
- Experience supporting both B2B and B2C audiences
- Familiarity with ecommerce tools and apps (reviews, bundles, etc.)
- Experience improving or redesigning existing or legacy websites

Position Details:
- Full-time, onsite position based in Lenexa, Kansas (remote work not available)
- 40 hours per week
- Hourly role
- Compensation is based on experience and skill level
