The Opportunity
Given the continued growth of our leadership development and executive advisory work, we are seeking a full-time Managing Director, Leadership Coach to join CRA | Admired Leadership. This is a salaried position with access to our revenue sharing program. The Managing Director, Leadership Coach will serve as a trusted advisor to leaders navigating complex organizational, interpersonal, and strategic challenges. This individual will coach executives and senior leaders, support client engagements, contribute to business development, and help expand the reach and impact of CRA | Admired Leadership’s leadership offerings.
This role is well suited for someone who combines executive presence, strong coaching instincts, business acumen, and the ability to build trusted relationships quickly. The ideal candidate is energized by advising senior leaders, translating leadership concepts into practical behaviors, and helping clients achieve meaningful development and performance outcomes.
How You Will Make an Impact
- Coach executives and senior leaders on the leadership behaviors, habits, and routines that strengthen performance, credibility, influence, and followership.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, helping leaders navigate complex corporate environments, sensitive stakeholder dynamics, organizational change, and moments of high visibility.
- Apply the principles and content of Admired Leadership to real-world leadership challenges in a practical, tailored, and compelling way.
- Lead and support leadership development engagements, including executive coaching, leadership advisory work, team effectiveness sessions, and client-specific development programs.
- Build durable relationships with senior leaders and decision-makers by demonstrating judgment, discretion, responsiveness, and a deep understanding of client context.
- Partner with colleagues across CRA | Admired Leadership to shape client solutions, support delivery excellence, and ensure a consistent, high-quality client experience.
- Identify opportunities to expand existing client relationships and introduce CRA | Admired Leadership solutions where they can create meaningful value.
- Contribute to the firm’s growth by participating in business development, relationship expansion, thought leadership, and the ongoing refinement of leadership content and offerings.
- Bring a commercial mindset to the role, balancing exceptional client service with an understanding of how to grow and sustain a successful advisory practice.
- Represent the firm with professionalism, humility, and credibility in interactions with executives, HR leaders, business unit leaders, and other senior stakeholders.
What Makes You a Great Candidate
- Significant experience coaching, advising, developing, or consulting to senior leaders in complex organizations.
- Strong understanding of corporate, organizational, and leadership dynamics, including how decisions are made, influence is built, and credibility is earned inside large enterprises.
- Consulting experience or a consulting background is a plus, particularly experience in leadership development, organizational effectiveness, executive advisory, human capital, communication, or talent-related work.
- Credibility and confidence in front of senior executives and leaders across industries.
- Master-level facilitation and coaching skills, with the ability to guide conversations that are thoughtful, practical, and outcome-oriented.
- A discerning eye for high-quality leadership content, practical advice, and executive-ready recommendations.
- Strong judgment and the ability to navigate delicate or ambiguous situations with limited context.
- Sharp evaluative instincts and the ability to quickly identify the leadership behaviors, patterns, and moments that matter most.

- The successful candidate is responsible for generating leads, maintaining, and building relationships with new/existing contacts, and has a current client base.
Preferred Background and Experience
- Executive coaching, leadership advisory, consulting, or senior leadership experience with exposure to enterprise-level clients.
- Experience working with C-suite executives, senior leadership teams, high-potential leaders, or leaders in moments of transition, growth, or increased responsibility.
- Background in leadership development, executive communication, talent development, management consulting, or a related advisory discipline.
- Experience contributing to client growth, account expansion, relationship development, or revenue-generating activities.
- Prior experience in a professional services or consulting firm is a plus.

This individual will build strong relationships, deliver practical and high-impact coaching, represent the firm with credibility, and help expand the reach of our leadership development work. Over time, success in this role will include developing a strong coaching practice, contributing to client retention and growth, collaborating effectively with colleagues, and demonstrating a deep command of Admired Leadership content and philosophy. The strongest candidates will bring both the presence to advise senior executives and the builder’s mindset to help grow a meaningful practice within the firm.
