Role Description
This is a full-time on-site Drafter role located in the New York City Metropolitan Area. The Drafter will be responsible for creating technical drawings and designs for architectural wall projects, preparing detailed schematics and drafts, and collaborating with project teams to ensure precise execution. Additional tasks include reviewing project specifications, ensuring compliance with design standards, and supporting production teams by providing accurate and timely documentation.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in drafting and design software such as AutoCAD and Revit
- Understanding of architectural concepts, design principles, and construction materials
- Experience interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications
- Strong problem-solving and spatial reasoning skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in drawing and documentation
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities to work with project teams
- Familiarity with architectural metal and glass components is a plus
- A degree or certification in Drafting, Architecture, or a related field is preferred
