About the Role
The Executive Vice President – Batavia is responsible for helping the company to achieve financial goals and objectives and increase operating performance. This role drives revenue growth, establishes sales strategies, builds strong customer relationships, and oversees the performance of the organization. The Executive Vice President – Batavia collaborates with executive leadership to align sales goals with overall company objectives and ensure long-term business success.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve company revenue and profitability goals.
- Work with audit committee to prepare budgets and analyze financial reports.
- Report and share information with upper management to ensure they are kept fully informed on the condition of the company and important factors influencing it.
- Set goals, monitor work, and evaluate results to ensure that departmental and organizational objectives and operating requirements are met and are in line with the needs and mission of the company.
- Participate in and nurture broad networks of alliances with others to exchange knowledge and information about learning and change in support of change initiatives.
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor sales effectiveness and pipeline management.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and markets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and strategic accounts.
- Collaborate with Operations, Finance, Quality, and R&D to support customer needs and project execution.
- Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and reports for executive leadership.
- Represent PakLab – Batavia at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote the company’s capabilities.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, contractual obligations, and customer requirements.
- Implement tools, processes, and technologies to improve sales productivity and reporting.
- Develop pricing strategies in coordination with Finance and Executive teams to maximize profitability.
- Drive customer satisfaction and retention through effective account management practices.
- Contribute to strategic planning and decision-making as a member of the executive leadership team.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field required; MBA preferred.
- 10+ years of progressive sales or supply chain experience, including 5+ years in a senior leadership role.
- Demonstrated familiarity with the development, use and implementation of planning and forecasting systems.
- Proven track record of achieving revenue growth and managing large customer accounts.
- Experience in manufacturing, packaging, consumer packaged goods, or related industries strongly preferred.
Required Skills
- Proven leadership ability to develop and manage high-performing sales and development teams.
- Strong strategic thinking and business acumen.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency with CRM software (Salesforce or equivalent) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to analyze sales metrics and market trends to drive informed decisions.
- Experience with contract negotiations and large-scale business development initiatives.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing, packaging, cosmetics, or pharmaceutical industries preferred.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in manufacturing, packaging, consumer packaged goods, or related industries strongly preferred.
Pay range and compensation package
$130-189K depending on experience plus benefits package.
