About the Role
We’re looking for a creative and motivated Junior Web Designer to join our growing team. You’ll play a key role in designing and building beautiful, high-converting WordPress websites for contractors across North America. This is a hands-on position working with many different AI and web tools to help our client's grow their online visibility.

Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop custom WordPress websites, we use AI to build these fast.
- Create responsive, pixel-perfect, high-speed layouts using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Customize WordPress themes and build lead-generating pages.
- Use AI to write clean, maintainable code and troubleshoot front-end issues
- Implement basic SEO best practices (on-page optimization, schema, site speed, mobile performance)
- Make light customizations and fixes using PHP when needed
- Integrate AI-powered tools to boost efficiency and creativity
- Optimize every site for performance, accessibility, conversions, and lead capture
- Work closely with our marketing, PPC, and SEO teams to ensure websites support paid campaigns and local search results
Requirements
- 1–3 years of professional experience in web design or front-end development
- Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
- Solid hands-on experience with WordPress (theme customization, plugins, page builders)
- Basic knowledge of PHP (comfortable with small edits and debugging)
- Understanding of SEO fundamentals and on-page optimization
- Familiarity with AI tools in design/development workflows (Cursor)
- Portfolio showcasing real WordPress projects (especially any lead-generating or service-based sites) – required
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience with ACF, or custom post types
- Basic knowledge of Tailwind CSS
- Familiarity with performance tools (Lighthouse, GTmetrix)
- Experience integrating AI features (GoHighLevel, Cursor)
- Comfort with Git version control
