We are looking for a Chief Operating Officer to lead enterprise-wide operations and strengthen the structure, discipline, and scalability of our client's organization in Henderson, Nevada. This executive will partner with senior leadership to translate strategic priorities into measurable operational plans, while ensuring financial performance, regulatory alignment, and organizational effectiveness. The ideal candidate brings strong experience in complex business operations, government contracting environments, and cross-functional leadership.
Responsibilities:
• Lead day-to-day operational performance across the organization, aligning people, processes, and resources with strategic business objectives.
• Direct budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning efforts, ensuring financial decisions support growth targets and site-level operating needs.
• Partner with human resources leadership to guide workforce planning, compensation practices, employee development, retention efforts, and workplace safety initiatives.
• Oversee the full contract lifecycle for federal and commercial agreements, including proposal support, negotiations, modifications, subcontract administration, and closeout activities.
• Ensure organizational adherence to applicable federal, state, and local regulations, with particular attention to contract compliance and operational governance.
• Establish and refine internal policies, reporting structures, and control mechanisms that improve communication, accountability, and informed decision-making.
• Manage enterprise risk and support legal and administrative matters involving agreements, leases, and other binding business documents.
• Evaluate operating results on a regular basis, identify improvement opportunities, and present performance insights and recommendations to executive leadership.
• Drive quality oversight programs across corporate and site operations to maintain consistent standards, compliance, and service delivery excellence.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field preferred
• 10+ years of leadership experience in business operations, including responsibility for multi-functional teams and organizational performance.
• Demonstrated expertise in government contracts, including federal contract administration and compliance requirements.
• Strong background in financial planning, budget oversight, and resource allocation across multiple operating environments.
• Experience leading human resources-related operational initiatives such as hiring support, training programs, retention planning, and safety compliance.
• Proven ability to design scalable processes, implement operational controls, and improve organizational efficiency.
• Knowledge of legal, regulatory, and risk management considerations affecting company operations.
• Excellent executive communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence decisions across all levels of the organization.
