Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Assistant Operations Manager located in the New York City Metropolitan Area. The Assistant Operations Manager will support daily store operations, ensure operational efficiency, and maintain high standards of customer service. Responsibilities include overseeing inventory management, assisting with scheduling and staff management, driving process improvements, and collaborating with the team to meet store goals. The individual will partner closely with the management team to uphold company standards, enforce policies, and contribute to a positive and productive workplace environment.
Qualifications
- Operational and organizational skills, including inventory management, scheduling, and maintaining store presentation
- Leadership abilities, with experience in staff supervision, team collaboration, and conflict resolution
- Customer service expertise, ensuring a high standard of excellence and a positive guest experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build effective relationships with team members and customers
- Problem-solving and analytical thinking to optimize processes and support decision-making
- Proficiency in retail management systems or software is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field is preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
