Job Description:
Our client is seeking a hands‑on operational leader to drive daily execution, alignment, and accountability across the business. This role ensures priorities are clearly defined, communicated, and carried out across customer service, purchasing, accounting, and production. The leader in this position will be deeply involved in day‑to‑day operations—working directly with teams to prioritize work, resolve issues quickly, and maintain strong cross‑functional coordination.
Success requires someone comfortable stepping into the details, addressing performance directly, and holding teams accountable while fostering alignment across departments. This role oversees five direct reports, including the Operations Manager (Warehouse/Production), two Purchasing team members, the Account Services Manager, and the Accounting Coordinator.'
Responsibilities:
- Lead daily operations across customer service, purchasing, production/warehouse, and accounting to ensure clear priorities, strong execution, and consistent accountability.
- Coordinate and resolve cross‑functional issues, including managing “hot orders,” driving follow‑through, and serving as the central point for operational problem‑solving.
- Oversee hiring, training, performance management, and continuous process improvement to strengthen team capability and workflows.
- Partner with Executive Leadership to shape and implement operational strategies, quality initiatives (AS9100/ISO), and long‑term organizational planning.
- Improve inventory management, production best practices, technology systems (ERP/CRM/e‑commerce), and capacity planning in collaboration with department leaders.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Base Salary: $120k - $150k
- Variable Bonus opportunities based on Quarterly Goals: ~$20k
- Projected 1st Year Earnings: $140k - $170k
