Job Summary: Clinical Informaticist- Illinois

Serve as a key member of the Clinical Informatics team, collaborating closely with operations leaders, clinical leaders, and the Information Systems EMR team.
Coordinate the successful implementation, optimization, and ongoing improvements of EMR systems across all clinical facilities.
Analyze and evaluate current and future end-user departmental requirements, workflows, and procedures to provide effective application solutions.
Lead and participate in planning, design, development, implementation, maintenance, and evaluation of clinical information systems.
Collaborate with end-users to define healthcare information challenges and develop solutions.
Participate in facility-wide process improvement initiatives related to clinical information systems.
Maintain in-depth knowledge of EHR systems (e.g., Cerner, Epic), clinical decision support tools, healthcare IT, and the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Provide support for all EMR-related projects, ensuring alignment with organizational, divisional, and departmental objectives.
Flexibility to work on-site in Chicago, with the ability to work remotely as needed; may require travel to additional sites and working variable shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (including Visio) to support documentation and process mapping.
Ensure all clinical informatics initiatives are compliant with relevant policies and best practices.
