Company Description
We operate a multi-brand portfolio of physical consumer goods across Amazon, Shopify, and national retail partners, managing the full supply chain from supplier to customer at $20M+ in annual revenue.
Role Description
We're looking for a hands-on Supply Chain Manager to own end-to-end inventory operations across multiple fulfillment channels. This role sits at the intersection of purchasing, logistics, and warehouse leadership — you'll be as comfortable building a replenishment forecast as you are walking the warehouse floor.
What You’ll Do
Inventory & Purchasing
- Monitor inventory levels across all sales channels and execute timely replenishment to prevent stockouts or excess.
- Build and maintain demand forecasts using sales trends, seasonality, and promotional calendars.
- Create and manage purchase orders; solicit and compare supplier quotes to drive cost-effective sourcing decisions.
- Conduct regular pricing audits on products and shipping components to reduce unnecessary spend.
- Verify supplier invoices and ensure received quantities match — escalate and resolve discrepancies with accounting.
- Maintain accurate SKU-level data, product specifications, and inventory records across ERP/WMS systems.
- Conduct and oversee weekly cycle counts; identify and resolve discrepancies to maintain system integrity.
Logistics & Supplier Management
- Coordinate inbound and outbound carrier pickups and delivery schedules to ensure on-time shipments.
- Process Bills of Lading and manage all shipment-related administrative documentation.
- Serve as the primary contact for domestic and international suppliers on lead times, product updates, and performance expectations.
- Evaluate supplier performance across quality, pricing, accuracy, and lead times — flag and address gaps proactively.
- Review and approve final packaging graphics to confirm alignment with supplier production specs.
- Delegate channel-specific shipment builds (e.g. marketplace and wholesale) to the warehouse team.
Reporting & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Generate and distribute inventory, purchasing, and shipment performance reports on a regular cadence.
- Provide internal teams with accurate inventory and product updates to support sales planning and forecasting.
- Collaborate with accounting to resolve invoice discrepancies or missing documentation.
- Partner with warehouse operations to resolve receiving, picking, or shipment issues as they arise.
What We’re Looking For
Required
- 5+ years of warehouse or supply chain operations experience.
- High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
- Forklift certification.
- Proficiency with ERP/WMS platforms and spreadsheet-based data management.
- Strong working knowledge of purchasing, logistics, and vendor coordination.
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work on your feet during warehouse walkthroughs.
- Excellent communication skills across internal teams, suppliers, and carriers.
Preferred
- Experience in multi-channel fulfillment environments (e-commerce, marketplace, and wholesale).
- Background in consumer goods or physical product companies.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-moving, high-growth environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative working style.
Working Conditions
- Full-time, on-site position in Los Angeles, CA.
- Monday–Friday
- Regular computer use alongside active warehouse floor presence.
- Periodic communication with international suppliers may require early morning or late-evening availability.
- Occasional travel to supplier or logistics partner locations may be required.
