30-year-old online aviation/aerospace news service is looking for a Digital Marketing Assistant for a new service group, assisting clients and sponsors with online marketing. The successful candidate should have a STRONG grasp of social media marketing (Current Emphasis: YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest), as well as solid PhotoShop, Web Graphics, WordPress, and SEO skills.
The applicant should also be a strong web designer... Solid WordPress and web-graphic skills are a priority. and again, great Social Media skills are also a major benefit. You are unlikely to be hired without these skills.
Additionally, strong InDesign skills are a definite requirement -with several major projects involving that skillset.
Excellent personal skills, as well as the ability to work independently, and to work directly with clients required -- along with some occasional travel. Additional skills with graphics editing, video, and written content creation and editing (especially press materials) are highly prized, as well.
Preference will be given to those with aviation or aerospace skills or experience.
The position is being offered part-time, but full-time requirements are anticipated very shortly -- especially for the right candidate. Position can be performed remotely by those with excellent working habits and discipline, negating a move from their current location. You must be excellent arbiters of your time and schedule... so that you know what needs to be done, and when, and so that you can work without overt supervision.
