Job Summary
The Valuations Associate provides critical support in the preparation of global retail replacement valuation documents and offers general assistance to the Valuations department. This role supports the broader retail and archival functions and plays a key part in maintaining the accuracy, consistency, and quality of documentation provided across the global retail network.
Key Duties, Responsibilities and Accountabilities
Retail Services Support
- Prepare Retail Replacement Valuations for new purchases upon request from the global retail salon network
- Proofread high-value valuations for accuracy and consistency, as directed by the department manager
- Maintain and update internal Reference Guides to reflect new collections or product modifications
Archives
- Contribute to the archive organization and research projects
- Conduct research on Harry Winston lots sold at auction to support historical referencing
- Assist in the preparation of lectures and presentations
Administrative Support
- Source and order supplies and archival materials as needed
- Perform general administrative tasks to support departmental operations
Key Working Relationships
- Collaborates closely with global retail staff, including sales and management teams, to ensure timely and accurate valuation support
Job Qualifications
- 2-3 years of experience in the luxury jewelry industry required
- Gemology knowledge or certification is a strong plus
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Exceptional administrative skills with a strong emphasis on writing, proofreading, and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and other standard office software
