Our Client has been enhancing Payment experiences for businesses, municipalities, and customers across thousands of locations throughout North America. Founded in Minneapolis, they began with the vision that businesses can streamline and optimize their operations by going cashless while still catering to cash customers. This led to the creation of their cash-to-card kiosks, which allow businesses to seamlessly serve cash customers while eliminating the costs and complexities of cash handling.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in the Greater Minneapolis-St. Paul Area.
The Senior Director, Procurement is new to the organization. You will lead and oversee procurement strategies, vendor management, and cost optimization efforts. Responsibilities include contract negotiation, direct and indirect spend, managing supplier relationships, implementing supply chain efficiencies, and executing strategic procurement initiatives. The individual in this role will collaborate across departments to drive operational excellence and ensure that organizational goals are met.
The role prefers Payments experience, meaning: card networks, processors, issuing economics, and banking relationships. Payment Industry knowledge would be preferred but not required.
This leadership role will not have direct reports.
Qualifications: live in a commutable distance to Eden Prairie, Minnesota
- 10+ yrs. of strong expertise in Contract Negotiation, Contract Management, and Procurement processes
- 10+ yrs. of experience in procurement, contract management, direct and indirect spend, or related roles, with a proven track record of leadership
- Proficiency in Supply Chain Management and understanding of supply chain best practices
- Experience in Project Management and cross-functional team collaboration
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
- Exceptional leadership, organizational, and communication capabilities
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field - MBA preferred
- Experience with enterprise platforms like SAP/Ariba, though his hands-on experience implementing a right-sized solution for an organization this revenue size sub 100M.
