VP of Operations to lead our Austin market. This senior executive will be responsible for overall operational performance—driving strong financial results, operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and high‑impact team leadership to support exceptional service and long‑term growth.

Key Responsibilities Of a VP Of Operations
As the VP of Operations, you will:
- Provide strategic and operational leadership across all functional areas within the Austin market
- Maintain full P&L accountability and consistently deliver strong financial performance
- Lead, develop, and empower high‑performing teams, including staff and independent contractor drivers
- Oversee fleet readiness, vehicle utilization, and maintenance to ensure maximum operational efficiency
- Build and strengthen relationships with customers, city officials, and community partners
- Ensure compliance with all safety standards, regulatory requirements, and training procedures
- Utilize operational and financial KPIs to drive optimization, efficiency, and continuous improvement
- Develop, manage, and execute the annual operating budget while controlling costs and increasing profitability
- Support contract negotiations, renewals, and strategic business development opportunities
- Foster a culture built on accountability, safety, service excellence, and operational discipline
- Collaborate with Human Resources on workforce planning, employee engagement, and personnel‑related initiatives
Qualifications Of a VP Of Operations
- 5–10 years of progressive leadership experience in transportation, operations, or general management
- Proven success overseeing full P&L performance
- Strong executive presence with exceptional communication and relationship‑building abilities
- Demonstrated ability to develop leaders and build collaborative, high‑performance teams
