The Marketing & Program/Event Coordinator plays a vital cross-functional role in advancing the organization’s mission. is a dynamic, detail‑oriented professional responsible for supporting an organization’s visibility, community engagement, and program & event execution. This role blends creative storytelling with strong project‑management skills to ensure that marketing efforts, events, and programs run smoothly.

Key Responsibilities
Program & Event Coordination (Approximately 50%)
- Support the planning, coordination, and implementation of organizational programs and events.
- Manage program calendars, logistics, vendor coordination, and volunteer communication.
- Assist in organizing and delivering core programs and services, including on‑site support and preparation of necessary materials and supplies.
- Coordinate volunteer engagement, including communication, scheduling, and event‑day logistics.
- Serve as a point of contact for program partners, participants, and stakeholders.
- Track program data, maintain participant records, and assist with reporting, evaluation, and the collection of feedback to measure program impact.
- Support the fundraising team with the planning and coordination of events such as fundraisers, community initiatives, workshops, and outreach activities.
- Manage event logistics including venue coordination, vendor communication, registration processes, set‑up, and volunteer roles.
- Assist with event promotion through marketing campaigns, social media, and community outreach.
- Ensure all programs and events reflect the organization’s mission and deliver a meaningful, high‑quality experience for participants and attendees.
Marketing (Approximately 50%)
- Develop and schedule content for all social media platforms, ensuring timely and mission‑aligned messaging.
- Assist with email marketing campaigns and newsletters, including drafting, formatting, and scheduling.
- Create compelling, audience‑centered content such as flyers, blog posts, website updates, impact stories, and graphics.
- Coordinate basic graphic design needs using Canva to support digital and print communication efforts.
- Maintain brand consistency across all communications, ensuring tone, visuals, and messaging reflect the organization’s mission, values, and voice.
- Manage digital platforms, including content scheduling, community engagement, and routine analytics monitoring.
- Track marketing performance metrics across social media, email, website, and print channels, providing bi‑weekly performance summaries to guide strategy and improve engagement.
- Support the development and implementation of integrated marketing campaigns designed to increase visibility, community engagement, and program participation.
- Creativity and platform knowledge to establish and grow our Tik Tok account. The ideal candidate understands TikTok trends, short‑form storytelling, and how to translate our mission into engaging, everyday content.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in nonprofit management, communications, marketing, public relations, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 2–4 years of experience in nonprofit, marketing, fundraising, or program coordination
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM/database systems
- Experience with social media platforms and email marketing tools
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Comfortable working independently and collaboratively
