Scope: Provide analytical and administrative support for category management and sourcing activities. Assist in preparing sourcing events, analyzing supplier proposals, and maintaining accurate procurement data.
Education: Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, or related field
Certification Preferred: CPSM, CIPS, or working toward certification
Experience:
- 3 years of procurement or supply chain experience
- Preferred experience with eSourcing tools like SAP Ariba, Coupa, Ivalua, and Jaggaer
- Analytical and Excel skills, familiarity with ERP systems, detail-oriented, organizational and communication skills
- Basic understanding of procurement regulations and contract terms Responsibilities:
- Collect and analyze spend data, supplier metrics, market trends
- Prepare reports and dashboards
- Assist in drafting RFQs/RFPs and bid packages
- Maintain contract records and process amendments
- Support day-to-day supplier communication
- Verify supplier compliance and maintain audit-ready documentation
- Identify opportunities to streamline data management and reporting
- Escalate complex problems to Category Specialist or Manager
