Company Description
Glasshaus is a record label and award-winning film production studio known for its genre-defying Live at Glasshaus series. We curate intimate performances captured with cinematic intention, releasing live albums and concert films that reimagine the intersection of music, film, and culture. Across our 17 multi-platform productions to date, Glasshaus artists comprise over 21 Grammys, 2 Oscars, 2 Emmys, and 2 Peabody Awards.
Role Description
Glasshaus is developing a new concert film franchise featuring the world’s greatest music icons and we're looking for a Chief Marketing Officer to help lead it into the world. This is a rare opportunity to build a full-scale marketing operation for a company with a serious artistic track record and an ambitious vision for what comes next. The right person will own the strategy, run the campaign, and define how this project lands culturally.
The CMO will oversee brand, content, paid media, email and SMS, PR, and D2C, with responsibility for how it all comes together across three verticals: theatrical release, album rollout, and merchandise. You'll manage creative partners and agency relationships, coordinate closely with artist management, and ultimately lead an internal team to execute at the highest level. This role starts as a part-time consultant engagement with a clear path to full-time within year one.
Who We're Looking For
A proven operator in music, entertainment, or film, someone who has run large campaigns, managed big budgets, and knows how the industry works. Fluency in paid media, D2C commerce, and multi-channel rollouts is essential—as is the ability to think beyond the tactical and find moments that transform our releases into cultural events.
We're open to the seasoned executive looking for a project worthy of their experience, as well as a rising talent ready to step into the biggest role of their career. What matters most is that you're a builder: someone who takes ownership, moves with urgency, and knows what exceptional looks like.
The Details
Part-time consultant to start (minimum 20 hours per week) beginning immediately. NYC strongly preferred; exceptional remote candidates considered. Rate negotiable based on experience. The right person transitions to full-time with salary, benefits, performance bonuses, and backend participation on projects they help to build.
How to Apply
Send your resume, cover letter, and response to the following question: "Tell us about a marketing campaign you led or shaped that you're proud of—what was the project, what was your approach, and what was the success story?" We read every submission. No recruiters or agencies, please.
