Who We Are: Spero Studio is a communications agency built for high-pressure work. We partner with public-facing organizations to shape narrative, defend credibility, and deliver results. We value sharp execution, good judgment, and people who can move quickly without losing rigor.
Role Overview: An Account Manager at Spero is a “doer’s doer”, someone who architecturally maps a campaign but also rolls up their sleeves and executes. This person will own client relationships and lead integrated public sector work, from program strategy to team execution, troubleshooting, and delivery. The Account Manager will sit at the intersection of strategy, operations, and politics, ensuring our work is effective, seamless, creative, and aligned with mission and metrics.

Execution & Delivery

Qualifications & Skills
- 5–8+ years of experience in communications, marketing, advertising or voter engagement firms.
- Proven track record owning and scaling complex, multi-channel campaigns.
- You’re comfortable being in both the 30,000-foot view and the trenches. You’ve fixed last-minute glitches, realigned budgets mid-stream, and persuaded skeptics.
- Strong political sensibility — you read the room, know power maps, stakeholder incentives, regulatory constraints, and can adjust rapidly.
- Excellent client-facing skills: clear communicator, trusted advisor, strong presence under pressure.
- Commercial acumen: budget management, P&L awareness, revenue-driven thinking.
