Role Description
We are seeking a results-driven and strategic Vice President, Commercial Jets to lead our sales efforts, drive revenue growth, and expand our market presence in the global charter sector focused on commercial airliners. This senior leadership role will lead and build out the commercial jet sales team, manage high-value client relationships, and develop sales strategies that align with the company’s ambitious growth objectives.
The ideal candidate is a proven sales leader in private aviation, capable of combining hands-on deal-making with high-level business development and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue opportunities, develop new and maintain current client relationships, and expand the company’s footprint in the commercial jets market.
- Oversee complex charter transactions, from aircraft selection to contract negotiation, and final booking, ensuring optimal client satisfaction and profitability.
- Maintain and strengthen long-term relationships with top-tier clients, ensuring repeat business and referrals.
- Provide direction, coaching, and performance management for the commercial sales team, ensuring all incoming leads and client requests are handled with speed, accuracy, and professionalism.
- Represent the company at industry events, client functions, and strategic networking opportunities to enhance brand presence and foster partnerships.
- Collaborate with relevant company departments to ensure seamless execution of charter flights and alignment of sales objectives with company goals.
- Contribute to business development projects, marketing campaigns, and service enhancements to drive competitive advantage.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, aviation management, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in private aviation charter sales specializing in commercial aircraft, with experience managing a team.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets in a competitive aviation sales environment.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close high-value, time-sensitive deals.
- Exceptional leadership and team-building abilities, with experience mentoring sales professionals.
- In-depth knowledge of the U.S. and global commercial aircraft charter markets, pricing structures, and regulatory considerations.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to represent the company with professionalism in high-level client and industry interactions.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
