Website Designer Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Website Designer with at least 1 year of experience using Wix Studio and/or Wix Editor. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys creative problem-solving, and is comfortable managing multiple design tasks efficiently.

At Zoek, we work closely with Wix and their users to enhance websites and SEO. As demand continues to grow, we are looking for someone who can jump in and take ownership of design projects, confidently navigate the Wix platform, and support our team with high-quality web builds and improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

Build, edit, and enhance websites using Wix Studio, Wix Editor, and Wordpress
Review and apply client design notes and direction with precision and creativity
Work collaboratively with internal team members via Slack, email, and task management tools
Manage multiple projects while maintaining strong attention to detail and deadlines
Enjoy working with people and websites
Recommend layout and design improvements that align with client goals and conversion best practices
Encompass a positive attitude and desire to help people

Requirements:

Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience with Wix Studio, Wix Editor, and Wordpress (Additional Platforms is a plus)
Strong organizational skills and ability to work quickly and accurately
A keen eye for aesthetics, layout, and functional design
Familiarity with basic design principles and terminology
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and collaborative environment
Self-motivated with strong time-management skills
Bilingual in English (Spanish is a plus)
Knowledge of SEO best practices is a plus (but not required)

Compensation:

Includes base salary + bonuses and commissions
