The Jewelry Exchange is a family-owned, nationwide jewelry retailer known for factory-direct pricing, exceptional craftsmanship, and a strong in-store and online presence. We’re looking for an E-Commerce & Website apprentice to own and evolve our website experience—from product management to UX improvements and site optimization

You will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our website and e-commerce platform, ensuring products are accurate, pages are optimized, and user experience improvements are implemented efficiently. This role is ideal for someone who is both technical and creative.

Add, edit, and remove products across the website, ensuring accuracy in pricing, descriptions, images, and inventory.
Manage product placement within the sitemap, site structure, and CMS to optimize navigation and user experience.
Maintain and improve site organization, collections, and categories.
Edit and manage the mega menu, create new pages, and update existing pages as needed.
Write and optimize website copy, including:
Product descriptions
Headlines and calls-to-action
Keywords, tags, and metadata for SEO
AI-assisted content creation and refinement
Implement ongoing UX/UI updates based on internal feedback, performance insights, and business needs.
Manage plugins and APIs, including integrations, updates, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
Collaborate with marketing, design, and leadership teams to support campaigns, promotions, and site enhancements.
Ensure website performance, functionality, and consistency across desktop and mobile.

Basic knowledge of e-commerce website (Shopify, WooCommerce, or similar).
Understanding of CMS platforms, site architecture, and navigation best practices.
SEO fundamentals, metadata, and keyword optimization.
Familiarity with plugins, third-party tools, and API integrations.
Basic understanding of UX/UI best practices.
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple updates simultaneously.
Comfortable using AI tools to assist with content creation and optimization.
Jewelry, retail, or luxury e-commerce experience is a plus (but not required).
