Description
APPLE INC has the following available in Seattle, Washington. Design and develop a continuous integration platform, including advanced approvals, load balancing, and monitoring. Troubleshoot and optimize network performance using OSI model. Leverage Kubernetes and containerization technologies to build systems to empower teams to self-manage deployments. Work with cross-functional teams to develop various platform integrations, including load balancing, Spinnaker pipeline orchestration and approvals. Write automated unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to validate the user experience. Develop proof of concepts for new features. Groom backlog and prioritize feature work for team. Monitor platform support channels. Review and analyze customer issues/queries. Handle new customers’ onboarding processes. Interview and onboard contractor and employee candidates. Analyze and identify gaps in documentation from customer engagements. Develop documentation for new features. Analyze and add work examples to documentation. Autogenerate documented steps. 40 hours/week. At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $171,600 - $258,100/yr and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science or a related field and 1 year of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
- Experience and/or education must include:
- Designing and implementing large-scale distributed systems in a cloud-native environment
- Utilizing Java and Scala to develop scalable, performant, and distributed applications.
- Using advanced Kubernetes knowledge to deploy and manage distributed and fault-tolerant services.
- Using Linux and containerization knowledge to troubleshoot virtual machines.
- Utilizing PostgreSQL and NoSQL database technologies, and data modeling.
- Using advanced knowledge of OSI model, load balancers, DNS, and other networking layers to troubleshoot and optimize network performance.
- Leveraging React and TypeScript to build performant, robust, and intuitive frontend interfaces.
- Applying telemetry and observability practices, leveraging metrics collection libraries to capture and publish metrics, and using PromQL to create visualization dashboards in Grafana.
- Using Cypress to write automated end-to-end user acceptance testing.
